Brass products age beautifully, often surpassing contemporary metals in their finish. The resultant finish of aged brass is known as ‘Patina’. Enhanced by time and the surrounding environment, brass’s rich patina makes it the product of choice for commercial and residential projects.

Often the client’s love for the aged patina finish is so strong that they intentionally enhance the patina and speed the aging process up.

Brass hardware will add an air of elegance to any cabinet, bathroom or kitchen. Brass works well with a number of different aesthetics, from antique, Hamptons-luxe through to modern-country styles.

Brass handles will slowly change colour and oxidise to achieve the patina finish. Whilst a clear lacquer is applied to all Little Swagger Products to slow this process down, it will eventually patina. For all of Little Swagger’s products we recommend cleaning as required with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

Caution should be used with household or industrial cleaning solutions as they may contain chemicals that can affect the clear lacquer or brass finish.

Never use a scouring pad, coarse cloth or cleaning pads with impregnated cleaning products.
